Origin Tea Pty Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to analyse and improve the Company's supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, production, logistics and product delivery. The position will work closely with management and operational teams to identify supply chain issues, analyse processes and data, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve the flow of products through the business.

Task & responsibilities

- Analyse the Company's supply chain processes from procurement through to production, inventory and delivery.
- Review procurement and supplier processes to identify opportunities for improved cost, efficiency, quality and reliability.
- Monitor and analyse inventory levels, stock movement and product requirements.
- Assist with inventory planning and forecasting based on sales and production requirements.
- Analyse production and supply requirements to ensure materials and products are available when required.
- Review logistics and product delivery processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Analyse delivery schedules, lead times and shipment movements and identify potential delays or inefficiencies.
- Collect and analyse supply chain data and prepare reports for management.
- Identify supply chain risks, bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
- Develop recommendations to improve supply chain processes, procedures and workflows.




- Assist with implementing approved supply chain improvements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of process improvements and identify further opportunities.
- Work with suppliers and internal departments to improve coordination and product flow.
- Liaise with procurement, sales, production, warehouse, logistics and finance teams to support effective supply chain planning.
- Assist management with supply chain forecasting, planning and decision-making.
- Maintain appropriate supply chain records, reports and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve coordination between the Australian business and international suppliers and operations.

Qualification & experience

- Experience in supply chain management, operations, procurement, logistics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience analysing operational processes and identifying improvements.
- Knowledge of procurement and supplier management.
- Knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Understanding of production and logistics processes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work across multiple business functions.
- Experience working with international suppliers or supply chains will be highly regarded.
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, business, commerce, operations or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
