FULL-TIME TEAM LEADER

Carlos Cantina is looking for a confident, hands-on and reliable Team Leader to join our team!

We’re a busy Mexican restaurant where great food, great drinks and excellent customer service go hand in hand.

We’re looking for someone who is switched-on, proactive and ready to lead by example. You need to be comfortable taking charge during service, supporting the team and making sure standards are consistently met.

The Role

- Leading and supporting the front-of-house team during service
- Ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant operations
- Delivering excellent customer service and handling customer feedback professionally
- Training and supporting staff to follow our service standards
- Monitoring staff performance, punctuality and presentation
- Ensuring staff follow company procedures and policies
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and restaurant presentation
- Overseeing opening and closing duties
- Supporting food and beverage service during busy periods
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control
- Communicating effectively with management and the team
- Taking initiative and resolving day-to-day operational issues

About You

- Previous hospitality experience essential




- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Able to hold staff accountable and maintain standards
- Proactive and able to think on your feet
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable handling busy services and competing priorities
- Willing to lead by example and jump in wherever needed
- Must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings
- Available to work other evenings throughout the week as required

Pay: $65,000.00 – $67,000.00 per year
