Job Summary: As the Pizza Chef at Magic Brothers Pizzeria, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality, stock and quality control and operations of the day to day. This individual will have exceptional organisational skills, a strong passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and service, and the ability to lead a team in the right direction and delegate tasks as the shift flows for smooth operation daily. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our pizza shop and creating an unforgettable experience for our customers who choose to get their dinner from MBP.

Responsibilities:
Day to Day Management (Product and Service)

- Daily completion of dough making, pizza/product creation with accuracy and efficiently within a team environment.
- Opening and closing of the store in a timely manner, adhering to procedures and standards for a hygienic and efficient workplace.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, cooperation and fun.
- Ensure that products meet the highest quality standards and adhere to recipes, presentation guidelines and OHS (occupational health and safety) requirements.
- Delivering large catering orders (approximately 0-3 times a week). A current driver's licence is required for deliveries.

Stock and Quality Control

- Manage stock levels and ordering to comply with monthly budgets; ensuring you have enough supplies for the week ahead in addition to catering orders.




- Weekly ordering of supplies and stock.
- Play a role in waste management and reduction to ensure wastage is kept under 2% weekly wastage.
- Continually look for improvements within the business and consistently check the quality of products by testing and tasting.

Operational Support

- Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including updating processes, training the team, inventory management, stock ordering/control and reconciliation E.O.D.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Assist in training new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide great service and products as per guidelines.
- Responding to questions about the company (values, story and mission), its products or services accurately and confidently.
- As a small business, you will need to be across all systems of the business, and customer-facing support may sometimes be required.

Business Development

- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to improve rosters, training and team performance that lead to positive and productive outcomes for the business.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
