Contract Physiotherapist – Home-Based Rehabilitation (Post-Hospital)

Fletcher Physiotherapy provides in-home physiotherapy across Newcastle, Central Coast and Port Stephens. We're growing our team and are looking for experienced contract physiotherapists to see clients who have recently been discharged from hospital and need rehabilitation at home.

About the work

- Short, fixed episodes of care, usually 3 to 6 weeks, mostly after joint replacements (knee and hip) and similar surgery

- Home visits across Lake Macquarie, Cooranbong, Morisset, Toronto, Swansea and surrounding areas

- A steady flow of referrals, with new clients often starting within a few days of referral

- Cliniko booking and notes, with support from our admin and clinical team

What you'll need

- Full AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist (limited or provisional registration can't be accepted for this work)

- At least 2 years of clinical experience under AHPRA registration, which our referring organisations require





- Current driver's licence and your own reliable car

- Your own professional indemnity and public liability insurance

- Current police check

- ABN, and comfortable working as an independent contractor

- Strong clinical reporting: initial assessment, progress notes and discharge summary, completed on time

What we offer

- Flexible schedule with area-based scheduling, so your days are grouped by location and kept efficient

- $90–$110 per session, depending on experience

- Clinical support and debriefing from an experienced director

- Ongoing work from a range of referral sources
