We're looking for an Equipment & Asset Manager to help shape how those assets are planned, deployed, optimised and governed across one of Australia's largest and most complex logistics networks.

Based full-time on-site in Newcastle and reporting to the National Equipment, Sustainability & Rapid Response Manager, you'll help ensure operational equipment is available where and when it's needed to support business continuity, peak readiness and network performance.
This is an opportunity to influence national outcomes, work alongside senior stakeholders and make a tangible impact across a trusted Australian brand.

What you'll be doing

- Lead national equipment and asset programs that support operational readiness across Australia Post's network.
- Drive the planning, deployment and optimisation of operational equipment to maximise performance and utilisation.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sustainability and other business functions to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Support rapid response and business continuity activities during peak periods and critical operational events.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency and operational effectiveness.
- Manage supplier relationships to deliver strong service, commercial and operational outcomes.
- Support network planning activities to meet seasonal, peak and long-term operational requirements.
- Champion safe, compliant and effective asset management practices across the business.

What you'll bring

- Experience managing equipment,

assets, fleet, logistics or operational programs within a large, complex workplace.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple functions.
- Commercial acumen and experience managing suppliers or service providers.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong analytical capability.
- Experience driving operational improvements and implementing change initiatives.
- The ability to navigate competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, accountability and operational excellence.

Why join us?

- Influence equipment and asset strategy across one of Australia's largest operational networks.
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Lead high-impact initiatives that support network performance and operational readiness.
- Gain exposure to national projects, strategic planning and business-critical programs.
- Be part of a collaborative team focused on innovation, continuous improvement and delivering for customers.
- Access the career development opportunities and benefits that come with joining Australia Post.
