Duties and responsibilities include

- Stock rotation and control
- Food preparation
- Cooking to order
- Food storage
- Food cost
- Assist in menu design
- Cleaning
- Dishes

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop, who is willing and able to step up when required. This role is for someone who is keen to commit to a full time position. Weekdays and weekends are a requirement as we operate seven days a week breakfast and lunch.

We are offering a attractive Salary of: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year for the right candidate.

Job Duties:

- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations
- Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
- Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
- Train apprentices and other kitchen staff
