CoreBuilt Steel is an Adelaide-based, engineer-led Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing company specialising in the design, engineering, precision manufacturing, supply and installation of steel frames for residential and light commercial projects. We are growing our manufacturing operations and are looking for a reliable and motivated LGS Frame Assembly Worker to join our team.

About the Role

As an LGS Frame Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for assembling prefabricated light gauge steel wall frames, roof frames and other structural components in our manufacturing facility. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, working with tools and machinery, and taking pride in producing accurate, highquality work.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble LGS wall frames, roof frames and structural components according to drawings and production requirements.
- Read and interpret basic construction and framing drawings.
- Accurately position, align and fasten steel frame components.
- Use hand tools, power tools and framing equipment safely and effectively.
- Check dimensions, alignment and connections during assembly.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damaged components or manufacturing issues.
- Assist with loading, unloading, stacking and organising steel and completed frames.
- Operate a forklift when required and authorised.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe manufacturing area.
- Follow company quality‑control procedures and CoreBuilt’s workplace safety requirements.
- Work closely with production, engineering and drafting teams to ensure frames are manufactured correctly, efficiently, and more importantly safely.
- Assist with continuous improvement of assembly and production processes to optimise production cost & reduce re-work.

Experience & Licences Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Steel framing or structural steel
- Timber framing
- Construction or building manufacturing
- Factory or production environments
- Carpentry or general trade work
- Reading construction drawings

Forklift licence is not mandatory but will be highly regarded. LGS framing experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
