About the Job

We clean domestic homes for regular clients across the Bellarine Peninsula — no Airbnbs and no commercial work.

You’ll usually work independently, and occasionally alongside another team member for larger jobs or training.

We don’t expect you to race through a checklist. We expect you to notice things, use good judgement and leave a home properly finished.

Sometimes, it’s grubby. You’ll clean plugs, remove hair from drains, get behind toilets and occasionally deal with creepy crawlies. It’s physical work, and you’ll need to be comfortable lifting, bending,

squatting and being on your feet.

But there’s also something genuinely satisfying about walking out of a home knowing you’ve made a noticeable difference.

Kind. Calm. Consistent. That’s how we work with our clients, and how we work with each other.

About You

Previous professional domestic cleaning experience is essential for this role.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has exceptional attention to detail
- Naturally notices what needs doing
- Takes pride in doing a job properly
- Can work efficiently without rushing
- Is punctual, reliable and consistent
- Works confidently and independently
- Shows initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Is professional, warm and discreet in clients’ homes
- Takes responsibility and communicates when something goes wrong
- Is comfortable using a mobile app for job information
- Has a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Is physically capable of completing domestic cleaning work
- Is looking for a role they can commit to longer term

This probably isn’t the job for you if you’re looking for something you can cruise through on autopilot.

It might be exactly the job for you if you enjoy physical work, like seeing the result of a job done properly, work well independently and get satisfaction from leaving a home noticeably better than you found it.

Hours & Availability

This is a casual position paid at $38 per hour plus super.

Hours will initially be limited and will grow as we build your regular client roster.

During your initial training and handover period, availability across 4–5 weekdays is important so you can work alongside Chloe and become familiar with Bellarine Clean’s clients, homes and systems.

Once you’re established, the aim is to create consistent regular working days rather than a constantly changing roster.

All work is during weekday daytime hours on the Bellarine Peninsula.

What You’ll Need

- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Two skilled references

How to Apply

Apply through Indeed with your CV. A cover letter addressed to Chloe, outlining why you would be a good fit for this role, will be highly regarded.

If your experience and availability look like a potential fit, we’ll start with a short phone conversation to get to know each other and talk about your cleaning experience.

From there, shortlisted applicants will progress to reference checks and a paid practical trial.

We’re intentional about who joins Bellarine Clean. Our clients trust us in their homes, and we’re looking for someone who takes that responsibility seriously while genuinely enjoying the work.
