What you'll be doing

This is a varied, people-focused role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll be the welcoming face of our clinic, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring our patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Welcoming patients and creating a warm, friendly and skilled first impression.
* Managing a busy front desk, answering phones and coordinating appointments.
* Processing payments and completing invoices accurately.
* Supporting the chiropractors and wider team to keep the day running smoothly.
* Taking initiative, anticipating what needs doing and finding ways to improve the patient experience.
* Keeping the clinic organised, professional and welcoming.
* Helping us build relationships with our community and deliver an exceptional patient experience.




* Potentially contributing to our social media presence, including Instagram content and stories.

* Shows initiative and doesn't need to be told every little thing that needs doing.
* Is reliable, accountable and follows through on commitments.
* Communicates confidently and makes people feel welcome and valued.
* Enjoys working with families and is comfortable around babies and young children.
* Is comfortable around dogs — we have an office dog who is part of our clinic family!
* Works well independently while contributing positively to a team.

Previous reception, administration or customer service experience is highly regarded.



Experience in healthcare or an interest in natural health is a bonus.

The practical details

* *Hours:* Negotiable, with shifts generally falling between 8 am–12 pm and 3 pm–7 pm.
* *Pay:* In line with the applicable medical receptionist award and relevant classification.
* *Training:* Initial training and ongoing support are provided. We want you to feel confident in your role and continue developing your skills.
* *Location:* McLaren Vale, South Australia.
