We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Facilities Services Technician to join our growing facilities management team.
This varied position involves general property maintenance, routine site inspections, commercial cleaning support, minor repairs and ensuring commercial facilities are maintained to a high standard.
You will work across multiple commercial locations throughout the Gold Coast, assisting with day-to-day facility requirements and providing practical solutions to maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of commercial properties.
- Perform general maintenance, minor repairs and property upkeep.
- Assist with commercial cleaning and site presentation.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, equipment faults and safety hazards.
- Replace minor fixtures, fittings and hardware.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Liaise with site managers, contractors and service providers.
- Complete maintenance checklists and service reports.
- Respond to general facility maintenance requests.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
About You
- Previous experience in facilities management, property maintenance, cleaning or a similar role preferred.
- Practical, hands-on approach with robust problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable undertaking physical tasks.
- Current driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel between commercial sites.
