The Deep Unwind is a premium wellness studio — a sanctuary for mind, body and spirit. We believe true well-being extends beyond the physical. We are a small, carefully curated team. We don't do unnecessary frills or distractions — just immersive, therapeutic bodywork deeply attuned to each individual.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Remedial Massage Therapist to join us on a part-time basis. This is more than a job — it's an chance to build your own business within a business, growing a loyal client base within an established, beautiful studio with a strong community and ongoing marketing support.

We're taking our time to find the right person. You'll start with a smaller number of clients and build steadily from there, with our support. For a therapist who shows up and invests in the long term, there's real room to grow your hours.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Delivering high-quality remedial massage treatments with a holistic, whole-person approach
- Conducting thorough client assessments and developing tailored treatment plans
- Working with clients experiencing injury, chronic pain, postural issues and stress
- Building and nurturing a loyal client base with a genuine rebooking mindset
- Maintaining an immaculate treatment room and upholding our studio standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- A full remedial massage qualification (Cert IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage)




- Minimum 2 years of clinical remedial massage experience
- Current professional insurance and HLT registration
- Private health fund provider status (preferred)
- Strong assessment, treatment planning and clinical reasoning skills
- Warm, professional, client-centred approach
- A deep connection to a holistic approach to bodywork and well-being
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated — happy to start with a smaller client list and build gradually over time

OUR HIRING PROCESS

Initial applications are reviewed and shortlisted. Promising candidates will be invited to a Zoom interview first. Successful candidates will then be invited to the studio for a second-stage interview — which includes a 30-minute practical treatment session so we can experience your work firsthand.
