Ometto Pizza & Deli is looking for a capable, reliable chef to join our small kitchen team.

We're after someone with solid kitchen experience who can step in, take ownership of their section and get the job done without needing constant supervision.

The role is primarily focused on our wood-fired pizzas. While there's technique involved in stretching, topping and cooking pizzas, the process itself is straightforward, and we're happy to teach the right person our methods.

You don't need years of pizza experience, but you do need to be confident in a commercial kitchen, work efficiently and maintain consistency during busy services.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Confidence working independently and managing your own section.
- Good time management, organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A reliable, practical attitude and willingness to learn.
- Someone who takes pride in producing consistent, quality food.

Hours & Availability

We're offering approximately 12–24 hours per week,



generally across 3 days, with the possibility of a fourth.

Shifts may include split shifts, evening services or a combination depending on availability and business needs.

We're flexible with the roster for the right person.
