Ket Baker is hiring — Executive assistant

We’re after a genuine operator — someone who can take real weight off our CEO, not just follow a list.

We’re a 100% sourdough bakery near Geelong and Ocean Grove, set amongst the gums on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula — quick-paced, high standards, and growing.

This is a permanent, part-time role for someone experienced and senior enough to run with ambiguity, not wait to be told exactly what to do. You’ll be the bridge between our CEO and the floor — handling admin, hiring support, supplier and customer communication, and genuine financial oversight (we need someone comfortable with numbers, not just comfortable avoiding them).

You are:

- A strong, proactive communicator — if something’s not right, you tell us before we ask
- Detail-oriented and accurate, especially with anything involving money
- Someone who asks the right questions before acting, not after
- You verify before you act — double-checking figures, confirming decisions before they go live, and following up until something is actually resolved, not just started.
- Capable of making sound,

- Comfortable using AI and modern tools to work smarter, not just harder
- excel is a must
- A strategic thinker who can triage a busy week and still catch what matters
- You are able to multi-task; triage workload; work autonomously and are proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must)

This isn’t an entry-level admin role. We need someone who already operates at this level, or is one step from it and hungry to prove it.
