As Hall continues to secure major projects across Queensland and beyond, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Civil Superintendent to join the team.

The Opportunity

Initially based in Hall's Brisbane office, you will support project planning, mobilisation and delivery activities before transitioning to site as works commence. Following mobilisation, the position will operate on either a 2:1 or 3:1 FIFO roster , supporting the delivery of a major marine infrastructure project in North Queensland .

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day execution of civil and marine construction activities, leading site teams to safely deliver key project outcomes on time and within budget.

While Brisbane-based candidates are preferred, candidates located in Townsville or Cairns are also encouraged to apply due to the location of upcoming works.

Key Responsibilities

- Directing and mentoring the works team on a variety of tasks.
- Carrying out duties in line with OH&S; standards.
- Ensuring the project is delivered on time, to budget and within scope.
- Overseeing the civil production process and confirming this is running to schedule and within time constraints.
- Assisting in drafting detailed financial and earned value reviews of projects and identifying issues or opportunities to ensure tendered expectations are met.
- Ensure all team members understand their respective roles and are suitably qualified to execute what is expected.

About You

- Australian working rights (no sponsorships offered)
- Demonstratedbackground working as a Supervisor, Superintendent, or Site Manager for a mining or Tier 1 contractor where safety and compliance is of high priority.
- Strong leadership background managing multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Experience delivering bulk earthworks, marine infrastructure, dredging supports works, reclamation, or coastal protection will be highly regarded .
- Demonstrated ability to manage programme, productivity, and project outcomes in complex construction environments.
- Robust commitment to safety and upholding company ethics and values.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to build relationships through engaging members of your team.
- Willingness to work on a FIFO roster following project mobilisation.
