1 Spring Street Hotel & Residences is an upcoming 50-room property located at One Spring Street, Elizabeth Quay.

As we prepare to open, we are seeking an enthusiastic, service-focused Guest Services Agent to join our founding team and help create a polished, welcoming and memorable guest experience from day one.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide warm, personalised service throughout each guest’s stay. From managing check-in and check-out to assisting with reservations and guest requests, you will help ensure daily operations run smoothly.

As part of our pre-opening team, you will participate in training, service trials and the establishment of our guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally.
- Manage reservations, room allocations and guest profiles accurately.
- Process payments, maintain guest accounts and complete cashiering duties.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests and feedback.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Assist with luggage, transport arrangements and local recommendations.
- Support personalised welcome arrangements and special requests.




- Work closely with restaurant and other operational team members to deliver seamless service.
- Maintain accurate shift handovers and protect guest privacy.
- Follow hotel procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

- Previous Front Office or guest services experience in a hotel or serviced residence.
- A warm, qualified manner and a genuine passion for personalised service.
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Opera Cloud PMS or a similar hotel system is highly regarded.
- Confidence in handling payments and maintaining accurate records.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
- A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support colleagues across operations.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
