About the Role

Teys Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join the Maintenance team based at our Beenleigh processing site in Queensland.

You will be a full-time employee right from the start, earning a wage + super with occasional overtime, penalty rates + other great benefits!

About the Role

- Keep all equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Maintain all automatic lubrication systems within the plant.
- Inform supervisors of any concerns regarding rails, gates and chains.
- Maintain standards and company policies and procedures.
- Conform to regulations and standards.
- Prevent rail fallout that could compromise product quality.

About You:





- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in a similar trade assistant/laborer role.

- Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive and manual tasks in cold and wet environments.
- Willingness to work in a meat processing facility (including exposure to blood, raw meat, and by-products).
- Willingness to learn and follow strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with experienced tradespeople
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and always adhere to safety requirements
- Reliable and punctual.
- Be a team player and willing to help others get the job done
- Q-Fever vaccinated (or willing to get)
