YoMe is a brand-new self-serve frozen yoghurt and açaí store coming to Coorparoo Square!

We're looking for experienced, friendly, reliable and proactive individuals to join our growing team.

We're hiring for both Senior Team Member / Shift Supervisor and Team Member positions.

At YoMe, we believe great customer service, a positive attitude, and a clean, welcoming environment make all the difference. We're looking for people who take pride in their work, enjoy interacting with customers and are confident working in a food service environment.

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required. Food safety knowledge or relevant certificates are highly regarded.

Your Responsibilities

- Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Assist customers with our self-serve frozen yoghurt and açaí experience.
- Operate POS systems and process payments accurately.
- Restock, rotate and maintain the toppings bar, ensuring freshness, hygiene and attractive presentation.
- Monitor and maintain frozen yoghurt machines and store equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the store, including counters, machines, floors and customer areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and safe food handling procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Work efficiently and support teammates during busy periods.
- Take initiative to identify tasks and maintain store standards without constant supervision.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Team Members / Shift Supervisors

- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
- Open and close the store independently.
- Guide, support and assist with training team members.
- Maintain consistent standards of customer service,



food safety and cleanliness.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Take responsibility for store presentation, stock management and shift operations.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements – All Positions

- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, cafés, restaurants or similar food-related environments.
- A friendly, approachable and customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts.
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to take initiative without being constantly directed.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, safe food handling and cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and store presentation.
- Ability to remain calm, organised and effective during busy periods.
- Willingness to learn, follow procedures and take responsibility for your work.
- Flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Highly Regarded

- Food Safety Supervisor certification or food handling certificates.
- Experience handling and preparing food in a commercial environment.
- Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling.
- Experience in dessert shops, frozen yoghurt stores, cafés or quick-service restaurants.
- Previous shift-leading or supervisory experience, particularly for senior positions.

For Senior Team Member / Shift Supervisor positions, previous experience managing shifts, working independently and supporting other staff is highly regarded.
