At Care Crew Property Services, we look after apartment buildings and commercial properties across Melbourne's inner and Bayside areas, keeping shared spaces clean, gardens looking great and buildings protected, welcoming and well cared for. About the role

If you like variety and seeing the results of a job well done, this is a job for you. This is a hands-on role cleaning and maintaining interiors and grounds of apartment buildings in Inner and Bayside Melbourne.

Your days will be varied. You might start the morning mowing and edging a lawn, move on to cleaning an apartment foyer, put bins out and finish by making sure a property is looking its best. Most shifts are worked in a team of two, visiting several properties during the day. You'll have someone to work alongside, share tasks with and learn from, with some shifts worked independently.

Key responsibilities

- Interior cleaning: Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and glass cleaning
- Grounds maintenance: Mowing, edging, blowing and general lawn maintenance
- Identifying and reporting issues with buildings, gardens and grounds
- Working from property checklists and completing jobs within allocated timeframes
- Communicating with residents in a friendly and professional way

You may also do:

- Hedge trimming, pruning and garden care
- Deep cleaning and periodic maintenance tasks
- Putting bins out and bringing them back in
- Simple repairs and maintenance

About you

- Have a positive, friendly can-do attitude
- Are reliable, organised and accountable
- Can manage your time and follow checklists and procedures
- Notice problems and take action to fix them or report them
- Communicate well and are confident interacting with residents
- Are physically fit and enjoy active, hands-on work
- Are comfortable using a smartphone and following digital processes

What you need

- The right to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable car
- Good spoken and written English
- The physical ability to perform active work and carry equipment

Horticultural or handyman experience is a plus.

Pay: $33.85 – $37.00 per hour
