WE’RE HIRING – DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER Cooranbong and Gosford, NSW

We Care is looking for a caring, reliable and experienced disability support worker to join a lovely, established team supporting a participant in his own home.

We’re seeking a team player and quick learner who has a genuine passion for helping others live with autonomy, dignity and respect. You’ll support his choices, routines and independence while working collaboratively with his team.

You must have:

- At least 2 years’ experience in the disability support industry. Experience providing personal care. Experience following mealtime management plans and assisting with meals. Experience with medication assistance. Robust communication skills and a respectful, person-centred approach.

Your role will include:





- Personal care and toileting assistance. Transfer assistance in line with the participant’s support plans. Meal preparation, cooking and assistance with eating. Medication assistance in line with documented procedures. Light household cleaning and organising personal care equipment. Supporting everyday choices and participation in home life.
