Job description:

Our successful Augustus Gelatery franchise store in Berwick is on the hunt for a dedicated and reliable Assistant Store Manager to assist our current Store Manager.

Applicants must have previous hospitality and/or retail experience. Management or leadership experience is highly preferred.

As Assistant Store Manager you will be expected to assist in managing a team of up to approximately 25 staff members, complete weekly equipment maintenance, approve staff timesheets, oversee staff online training, rotation of stock, new hire training, completion of daily cleaning tasks, delegating tasks, opening and closing store, enforcing company procedures, handling customer complaints, monitoring store email, prepping product in accordance with preparation guides, ensuring store is clean and tidy and meets company standards.

Excellent organisation and communication skills are a must!

This is a part-time/full-time permanent position. Applicants must have high and flexible summer availability including a mixture of days, nights and weekend work. Position paid under Fast Food Industry Award rates.

It is preferred if applicants have had previous hospitality and/or retail experience in a leadership role but not essential.
