The Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Test Lead / QA Automation Engineer to join a major enterprise environment in Sydney.

This role is ideal for a hands-on testing professional with strong ServiceNow experience and deep expertise in Automation Anywhere. You will take a key role in developing, executing, and enhancing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, establish effective test strategies, identify defects, and continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Automation Anywhere.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and automated testing strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
- Execute automated tests, analyse results, and identify defects and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks, tools, and testing processes to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Document test cases, test results, defects, and supporting testing artefacts.




- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback relating to software quality and testability.
- Work with development and delivery teams to investigate, track, and resolve defects.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on automation testing approaches and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across QA, testing, and automation practices.
- Support testing activities within Agile delivery environments.
- Stay current with emerging QA automation technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

What You'll Need

- 7–10 years of professional experience across quality assurance, software testing, and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience working with ServiceNow.
- Solid expertise in Automation Anywhere.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
- Experience implementing, maintaining, and improving automated testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, testing, delivery, and business teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with additional automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and environments.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Relevant certifications in quality assurance, software testing, or automation testing.
