Full-Time Position | Commencing January 2027

Are you a passionate, experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Room Leader who loves inspiring young minds and preparing children for their exciting transition to big school?

At Early Foundations Academy, we are looking for a dedicated and confident Diploma Qualified Educator or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team in January 2027, leading our Preschool Room and delivering a high-quality, engaging and meaningful school readiness program.

We are seeking someone who brings creativity, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education to our wonderful team!

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this position, applicants MUST meet the following requirements:

✅ Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (ECT).

✅ Have previous experience as a Room Leader, with the confidence and ability to lead, mentor and support a team of educators.

✅ Have demonstrated Preschool experience, including planning, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive School Readiness Program that supports children's successful transition to primary school.

✅ Be available to work full-time hours (Monday–Friday), commencing January 2027.

We are looking for someone who also:

✨ Has a strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and NQS.

✨ Is passionate about creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that build children's independence, confidence and school readiness skills.

✨ Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.

✨ Values strong, respectful relationships with children, families and fellow educators.

Please note: This is a full-time position commencing January 2027. Applicants must hold either a Diploma or ECT qualification and have previous Room Leader and Preschool School Readiness Program experience to be considered.

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
