Amin’s Butcher and Grill are soon to be opening our third halal butcher, restaurant and cafe location in the Slacks Creek area and are on the hunt for skilled team members to be part of our crew that works hard and has fun while doing it.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and presenting our gourmet meat products to a high standard while providing excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare meat for sale by removing bones, trimming, cutting, mincing, and shaping portions to meet customer orders or display requirements.

· Prepare specialised meat products, including marinated, seasoned, crumbed, and cured cuts, tailored to recipes and customer preferences.

· Maintain a clean and hygienic work workplace and equipment at all times.

· Safely and efficiently operate butchery equipment such as grinders, mixers, sausage fillers, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles.

· Inspect meat to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.

· Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and recommendations on meat selection and preparation methods.





· Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environment, adhering to workplace health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum 1 year proven experience working as a butcher in a retail or commercial environment.

· AQF Certificate III or IV in Meat Processing or equivalent trade qualification.

· Strong knowledge of meat processing, smallgoods, and traditional butchery techniques.

· Reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.

· Dedication to delivering professional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
