Love teaching Acrobatics and helping children grow in confidence?

Future Gems Dance Studio is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and safety-conscious Acrobatics & Junior Dance Teacher to join our team for teaching cover from 10 November - 10 December 2026, with paid training and co-teaching beforehand.

We're a nurturing, non-competitive children's dance studio where every child is encouraged to feel confident, capable and celebrated.

Teaching Hours

Thursday | 3:45-6:45pm - OUR PRIORITY (Hornsby)
Acrobatics and junior Movement & Magic (Jazz/Ballet combination)

Wednesday | 4:00-7:00pm - ADDITIONAL COVER (Hornsby)
Acrobatics, junior Movement & Magic and Grade 2-3 Hip Hop.

Tuesday | 4:00-7:15pm - OPTIONAL EXTRA HOURS (Wahroonga)
Movement & Magic, Grade 2-3 Jazz, Ballet and Musical Theatre.

You don't need to be available all three days! Experienced Acrobatics teachers available Thursdays only are strongly encouraged to apply.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience teaching children's Acrobatics, including safe spotting and skill progressions
- Confidence independently leading and managing children's classes
- A warm, energetic and encouraging teaching style
- Reliability, initiative and willingness to learn
- Availability for the November-December cover period
- Current NSW Working With Children Check and appropriate First Aid qualifications, or willingness to obtain them before commencing relevant duties

Experience teaching junior Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop or Musical Theatre is highly regarded,



but not essential.

You will be supported!

You will receive paid training and co-teaching opportunities from 27 October - 5 November, working alongside our current Acrobatics Lead before stepping into independent teaching.

With our End of Year Concert approaching, many dance classes will focus on existing choreography, concert rehearsals and fun performance preparation activities (and post concert celebrations!)

We provide curriculum guidance, teaching resources and a supportive team environment.

For the right person, there may also be ongoing teaching opportunities in 2027.

Pay & Employment

Casual employment, with pay determined by qualifications, experience and applicable Fitness Industry Award requirements, plus superannuation.

All required training and co-teaching hours are paid.
