Join our team at BIG4 Rainbow Beach as an Assistant Management Couple, supporting the day-to-day operations of the park and helping deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.

This is a hands-on, varied role suited to a couple who enjoy working across different areas of holiday park operations, including housekeeping, groundskeeping, maintenance and guest services. Working closely with the Park Managers and wider team, you will help maintain the park's presentation, support daily operations and ensure our guests enjoy a memorable stay.

Previous experience in holiday park operations is advantageous, and couples aspiring to progress into management roles across our portfolio would be highly regarded. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience across all aspects of park operations.

The successful applicants will be approved to live in the on-site residence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the holiday park, working across housekeeping, groundskeeping, maintenance and guest services as required.
- Maintain the presentation of accommodation, amenities and park facilities to a high standard.
- Clean cabin interiors, verandas and exteriors as required to meet guest expectations.
- Ensure amenities blocks, laundries and camp kitchens are clean, hygienic and well presented.
- Assist with general gardening, grounds maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens and trees.
- Carry out minor repairs, maintenance tasks and small projects across accommodation and park infrastructure.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, responding to guest enquiries and assisting with guest needs.
- Assist with telephone calls, emails, bookings and reception duties as required.
- Support the Park Managers in maintaining park standards,



enforcing park rules and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with workplace safety procedures.
- Handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Take initiative, identify areas for improvement and assist with other operational duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous experience in housekeeping, groundskeeping, maintenance, reception or general holiday park operations is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to work across all areas of park operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valuable organisational skills, initiative and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Basic maintenance and groundskeeping skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Newbook or similar property management systems is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn.
