Dr Anthony Crombie Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – Chermside QLD

We are seeking a friendly, organised and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team at Dr Anthony Crombie Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, located in Chermside. This is a permanent part-time position, working 2–3 days per week, with flexibility around days and hours for the right candidate. You will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and Dr Crombie in a professional and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and qualified manner
- Managing patient appointment bookings and scheduling
- Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
- Maintaining accurate patient records and files
- Assisting with general office administration tasks
- Ensuring the reception area remains clean, organised and welcoming
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

About you

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service or administrative role
- Dental reception or dental assisting experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential




- Experience with Xestro practice management software is preferred, but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, clinicians and colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
- A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanour
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment
- An understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations, or a willingness to learn
