We're looking for a Product Development & Marketing Coordinator to manage the journey of a new product from concept through to launch and promotion. While marketing forms an important part of the role, the primary focus is working with the team to select suitable new products to add to the Star Outdoor range. You'll work across sample evaluation, pricing, product documentation, price lists, website content and launch activities. Sustainability will also play an important role in your decision-making, with consideration given to product materials, supplier practices and environmental impact throughout the development process. No two days are the same. One day you might be reviewing samples from a new supplier, the next coordinating a product photoshoot, and the next preparing a new product launch for our website and sales team. You'll be supported by our sales, graphics and leadership teams, with the role focused on coordinating and driving the process rather than being the technical expert in every area.

Key responsibilities

- Create marketing plans for new product launches – from one-page plans for additional sub-range products to detailed marketing plans for major product additions
- Request, track and assess product samples
- Maintain accurate product information and pricing within our ERP system
- Prepare product specifications, information sheets and supporting documentation
- Update and manage product content on our website




- Coordinate photography and videography for new products
- Assist with product launches and go-to-market activities
- Research and communicate sustainability credentials and product features
- Work closely with suppliers, internal teams and stakeholders to bring new products to market

About you

- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Has strong attention to detail and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish
- Communicates confidently and can write both informative and engaging content
- Is comfortable learning current systems and processes
- Has experience with website content management platforms such as WordPress or WooCommerce (desirable)
- Has an interest in sustainability, responsible sourcing and product innovation
- Enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership of their work
- Brings a positive, proactive and "get it done" attitude
