The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Building Manager to join our team at an established and long term contract in Milsons Point. The building is an iconic 40 suite Commercial building situated in the heart of Milsons Point, overlooking Lavender Bay and Sydney Harbour.

The role is part time at 20 hours per week. Currently the site is attended 8am - 12pm Monday - Friday however there may be some flexibility in site attendance times following discussion.

This role is to provide cover for extended leave and is initially offered on a six month contract basis, however for the right candidate there may be ongoing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the building
- Build positive relationships with owners, tenants and committee members
- Coordinate contractors and service providers
- Assist with maintenance requests and follow up outstanding works
- Conduct common property inspections
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Monitor building presentation and identify maintenance issues
- Help prepare reports and communications for stakeholders
- Support compliance with WHS policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors

About You

You will have:

- A background in Property Management, Facilities Management, Strata or trade services.
- Minimum 2 years of Building Management Experience
- Strong administration skills
- Customer Service focus
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal
- An understanding of WHS systems and processes
