About The Company

Haymans are the foremost wholesaler in the Northern Rivers electrical industry.

They are part of MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM), the leading distributor of electrical, communications, solar, lighting and associated electrical component products in Australia. Established in 1916, MMEM has over 3000 staff operating in over 400 services centres nationally, including brands such as Haymans, TLE and Cetnaj.

About The Role

Based at Haymans Ballina, you will primarily be responsible for customer service at the trade counter, over the phone and by email. You will also be repsonsible for preparing quotations, processing orders, stock control, liasing with suppliers and building relationships with regular cusotmers. During peak periods, you may also be required to assist with warehouse operations and deliver goods to site using company vehicles.

This role is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday (7:30am to 4:30pm).





Your main duties will include:

- Providing customer service to electrical contractors
- Following through customer orders with our suppliers
- Assisiting to stock shelves with products safely and accurately
- Picking and packing customer orders for collection or delivery

About You

- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Friendly attitude and self-motivated
- Physically able to perform all required duties
- Walkie Stacker / Forklift experience (desirable)
- Ability to work with a computer inventory system
- Exceptional customer service and organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail in a fast-paced sales environment
- Understanding and application of safe manual handling techniques
- Reliable and hardworking, with the ability to prioritise your workload
- A knowledge of electrical wholesale products will be helpful, but is not required, as training will be provided.
