Job Description
ADAPTIVE CONCEPTS PTY LTD We are seeking cabinet makers who can do the following: Examining drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine production requirements and manufacturing methods. Calculating material requirements and estimating quantities of timber, laminates and hardware needed for projects.

Measuring, marking, cutting and shaping timber and manufactured board products according to specifications. Assembling and fitting cabinet and joinery components using adhesives, screws, dowels and other fasteners. Manufacturing custom cabinetry, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, shop fittings and other joinery products.

Installing hardware including hinges, drawer runners, handles, catches and locks. Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Inspecting completed products to ensure quality standards and precise fit and finish.

Assisting with the installation of completed cabinetry and joinery at client sites. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and complying with workplace health and safety requirements. The position will report to the Director.

The job will be full time,



with hours to be worked between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Successful applicants should have: Relevant qualifications including certificate III or IV in cabinetmaking Relevant 3 years cabinetmaking experience in lieu of formal qualifications Experience in using grinders, chisels, planes, saws and wood files Solid communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
