About the role

Power Up Electrical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Project electricians to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. You will play a crucial role in helping our existing construction team on electrical commercial projects in the region. This role is for an immediate start, with with the project in full swing there is ongoing work for the right candidates.

What you'll be doing

- Perform and coordinate electrical scope on commercial construction projects
- Power, lighting, Main switchboards, distribution boards and communications installs
- Manage project schedules, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Mentor and train junior electricians to develop their skills and expertise




- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise on site
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for each project

What we're looking for

- Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial electrical projects
- Proven track record of leading and supervising electrical teams on complex commercial projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to quickly resolve issues on site
- Thorough understanding of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficient in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior electricians
