Estimating, project delivery experience in the construction industry

This is a varied role that combines estimating, project administration and general construction administration. You will work closely with our estimating and project teams and directors to ensure projects are accurately priced, well organised and progressed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the preparation of project quotations and estimates
- Reviewing architectural drawings, plans and specifications
- Measuring quantities and preparing take-offs
- Obtaining and comparing supplier pricing
- Preparing purchase orders and project documentation
- Assisting with project scheduling and coordination
- Liaising with builders, suppliers, installers and clients
- Following up material orders, deliveries and project requirements
- Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
- Assisting with variations, invoices and project cost tracking

About you

- Highly organised and has excellent attention to detail
- Confident working with numbers and pricing
- Able to read and understand construction drawings — experience is preferred
- Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems




- A clear and confident communicator
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership
- Comfortable working in a busy construction environment
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in estimating, construction administration, quantity surveying or a similar construction-related role would be highly regarded
