About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator to join our team at our Home Hill, QLD workshop. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our operations. As a Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling agricultural equipment.

Key responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble agricultural equipment according to technical drawings and specifications





Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment

Measure, cut, shape, and form metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery

Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements

Maintain and care for welding equipment, tools, and workshop machinery

Read and interpret technical drawings to guide fabrication work

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications or substantial experience as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator

Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings

Competency in using hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
