Quality Engineer - Solar + BESS

Regional NSW | Contract | Hourly Rate + Super | Accommodation & Meals Provided

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join an EPC delivering a major utility-scale Solar + BESS project in regional NSW.

This is a site-based contract opportunity working across the construction phase of a large renewable energy project, ensuring quality standards, project specifications and QA/QC processes are maintained across site.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain project QA/QC systems and processes
- Conduct inspections, audits and quality checks across site activities
- Develop, review and manage ITPs, checklists and quality documentation
- Ensure construction works comply with project specifications, drawings and relevant standards
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions and quality close-out
- Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate QA records and reporting




- Support quality assurance through construction and commissioning activities

About You

- Previous experience as a QA Engineer / Quality Engineer on major construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience within solar, BESS, renewables, civil, electrical or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, ITPs, inspections and NCR management
- Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
- Robust documentation and communication skills
- Relevant engineering, construction or quality qualifications
