About the Role
This is more than a traditional sales role.
We're seeking someone who blends the technical confidence of an engineer with the commercial energy of a high performing BDM - someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities and driving business growth. If you're ambitious, technically capable and motivated to create long term commercial impact, this role offers the chance to shape the future direction of the business.
This role is ideal for someone who is hungry to chase new opportunities, enjoys connecting with clients and is excited by contributing towards growing the company.
The successful candidate will focus on generating new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers across the electrical drives, motors and automation sectors in Brisbane.

Requirements What you will bring:

- LV, HV & MV drives experience - highly desirable

- Electrical or automation engineering background - or relevant industry knowledge

- Strong proven ability to generate new business and actively pursue and convert opportunities

- Great lead generation ability accompanied with strong closing skills

- Practical commissioning experience

- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored technical solutions

- Strong communication, relationship building and negotiation skills

- A genuine passion for developing business and creating new opportunities

- A commercially minded, entrepreneurial approach





- Highly results driven, robust work ethic and autonomous working style

What We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in someone who is:

- An experienced BDM, Sales Engineer or Technical Sales professional

- From an electrical engineering, drives, motors or automation background or relevant industry knowledge

- Confident engaging with engineers, maintenance teams, project managers and senior decision makers

- Passionate about ultra low harmonic solutions and high performance technologies

- Skilled at identifying opportunities and converting technical knowledge into commercial wins

- Self motivated individual who is proactive and comfortable and productive working autonomously

- Commercially ambitious and excited to build something, not just manage an existing portfolio

- Ideally experienced within a smaller or specialist engineering business

- Looking for a long term role with genuine potential to grow into greater responsibility
