About the role

Bark Hair, a leading Canberra salon, is looking for a dedicated and talented 1st/2nd Year Hairdressing Apprentice to join our team. As a full-time apprentice, you'll learn from experienced stylists and develop your craft in a supportive, hands-on environment — an ideal starting point for anyone passionate about the hair and beauty industry.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting senior stylists with client consultations, shampooing, and foundational hairdressing tasks

- Learning and practising cut, colour, and styling techniques under expert guidance

- Keeping the salon clean, organised, and running smoothly

- Delivering warm, professional customer service that makes every client's visit a great one

- Completing the theoretical and practical training that forms your apprenticeship

- A positive attitude and a real willingness to learn
