About the role

Mulgowie Farming Company is one of the largest and most respected horticultural businesses in Australia, specializing in the growing, packing and marketing of fresh produce for domestic and export markets. Based at Mulgowie QLD 4306, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the cleaning team where the Cleaning Supervisor is not present and the cleaning of the food production line in the packing shed. The start time for this role is generally 6:30pm - 7:00pm.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the team on shifts where the Cleaning Supervisor is not present

- Ensure your team follows the cleaning schedule and shed cleaning checklist

- Ensure your team follows safe work instructions and cleaning workflows

- Ensure your team follows Mulgowie cleaning processes and procedures to meet GMP standard

- Be responsible for the correct processes and procedures being followed

- Work afternoon shifts across a seven-day spread as dictated by seasonal influences





Experience

- Previous industrial cleaning experience in a food manufacturing facility

- Experience in Chemical Handling

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including with the ability to work effectively in a team workplace

- Superior organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities

- Ability to follow safe work instructions

- Ability to follow cleaning workflows

- High levels of attention to detail

Qualifications

- Current Chem Cert highly regarded

- Valid working rights in Australia
