4D Delta is seeking motivated, reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our growing team as 3D Laser Scanning Technicians.

This is a hands-on, field-based role working across Western Australia's mining and industrial sectors. You'll travel to mine sites, processing plants and heavy industrial facilities, operating advanced laser scanning equipment and helping create digital models of critical assets.

No previous laser scanning experience is required.

We're not looking for experienced laser scanning professionals. We're looking for people with the right attitude, strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided by 4D Delta.

The majority of our work is located throughout Western Australia, with opportunities to participate in interstate projects as our business continues to grow.

About the Role

As a 3D Laser Scanning Technician, you will work as part of a field team delivering reality capture and digital inspection services to mining and industrial clients.

You will travel to site, operate specialised equipment, collect high-accuracy spatial data and help deliver the information used by engineers, maintenance teams and asset owners to make better decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in different locations, travelling regularly and being involved in a technology-driven industry.

What You'll Be Doing

- Travelling to mining and industrial sites throughout Western Australia.

- Assisting with the setup and operation of 3D laser scanning equipment.

- Capturing accurate field data in accordance with project requirements.

- Working safely in operational plants, shutdowns and construction environments.





- Conducting equipment checks and basic maintenance.

- Maintaining field records and project documentation.

- Assisting with project logistics and mobilisation.

- Representing 4D Delta professionally on client sites.

- Contributing to a strong safety and quality culture.

Full Training Provided

Successful applicants will receive training in:

- 3D laser scanning equipment and workflows.

- Reality capture and spatial data collection.

- Site survey procedures.

- Equipment setup, operation and maintenance.

- Quality assurance processes.

- Mine-site safety and scanning practices.

- Client interaction and professional field reporting.

About You

You enjoy practical work, being part of a team and working in different locations. You're dependable, adaptable and comfortable working in industrial environments.

Essential Requirements

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to follow procedures and work independently when required.

- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.





- Willingness to learn new technologies and develop specialist technical skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Western Australia.

- Willingness to frequently work away from home, including remote mine sites and regional locations.

- Flexibility to work varying schedules and project rosters as required.

Highly Regarded but Not Essential

- Mining, industrial or construction experience.

- FIFO or shutdown experience.

- Trade or technical background.

- Working at Heights certification.

- Confined Space certification.

- First Aid certification.

- Experience working in remote locations.
