With exciting opportunities for the expansion of music at Concordia Lutheran College in 2027, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Choral Accompanist to lead and develop our Senior College (SC) Choral Program.

Our choir currently comprises approximately 30 students and is entering an exciting new chapter following the graduation of a large group of Year 12 singers. This is an opportunity to invest in our younger musicians, nurture their vocal potential and build something exceptional for the future.

The opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled accompanist who can work alongside a Choral Conductor and foster a culture of musical excellence, confidence and connection.

- Rehearsals: Mondays, 3:30–5:00 pm (potential for flexibility with the right candidate).
- Ensemble development: Accompany a choir of approximately 30 students, with opportunities to grow participation and strengthen the program.
- Performances: Support students in competitions, and performance events as required.
- Looking ahead to 2027: Be part of the continued growth of music at CLC and help shape an exciting future for choral performance.

Working together in Music Performance Reporting to the Coordinator of Music Performance, the Choral Accompanist will work collaboratively within the broader Music Performance program,



alongside the instrumental and band program.

We are seeking someone who values collaboration, clear communication and a shared commitment to providing outstanding musical opportunities for students.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an Accompanist with appropriate qualifications, experience and a passion for working with young people. Most importantly, we want someone who sees potential in our young singers and is excited by the opportunity to build, shape and grow a choral program.

You will be supported in this role by an experienced Arts and Music team who instill in our students the values of learning, compassion, courage, service, excellence, and respect.
