The role:

At Saatchi & Saatchi, we believe Nothing Is Impossible. We’re looking for a new Account Director to join our tight-knit Melbourne team and take the lead across key client relationships and integrated creative work.

Sitting at the heart of the client relationship, you’ll be part business driver, part creative champion and part trusted partner. You’ll work closely with clients, creative, strategy and wider agency teams to turn business challenges into strategically sharp, creatively brave and commercially effective work. You’ll own your accounts from end to end, keeping the work moving, spotting opportunities for growth and creating an environment where both clients and teams can do their best work.

What you’ll be doing:

- Build trusted client partnerships, developing strong relationships from day-to-day contacts through to senior stakeholders and becoming a go-to partner for your clients.
- Lead great creative work, turning client briefs into clear, inspiring direction and partnering closely with creative and strategy teams from initial thinking through to execution.
- Own and grow your accounts, understanding your clients’ businesses, challenges and ambitions, while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand the relationship.
- Drive integrated delivery, bringing the right people together across the agency and keeping multiple projects, timelines and deliverables moving to a high standard.
- Manage the commercial side, taking ownership of budgets, forecasting, scopes of work and financials while balancing creativity, performance and growth.
- Lead and develop your team, providing clear direction, constructive feedback and support to Account Managers and Executives, while creating a collaborative and empowering team environment.





What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years’ experience within a creative advertising or integrated agency environment.
- A strong track record managing major client relationships and integrated campaigns.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to turn insights and business challenges into clear, actionable opportunities.
- Confidence presenting, influencing stakeholders and championing great creative ideas.
- Solid commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasts and account financials.
- A natural relationship builder who can bring clients and internal teams along on the journey.
- Robust organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused approach. You’re someone who sees what needs to happen and makes it happen.
- A collaborative and curious mindset, with the ambition to keep raising the bar for the work, your clients and your team.
