Role Description The Accounts Payable Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cannington, Perth WA.

This position is responsible for end-to-end invoice processing, including matching work orders, verifying supporting documentation, obtaining approvals, and preparing payment runs. The role involves reconciling supplier statements, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate accounts payable records within the finance system.

The Accounts Payable

Officer will liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to address queries,



support month-end closing, and ensure compliance with company policies.

This role requires consistent attention to detail, timely processing of high-volume transactions, and proactive communication to support the wider finance function.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Finance and Accounting, with experience in accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in Invoice Processing, including data entry, reconciliation, and payment scheduling.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with accounting or ERP software, and solid Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
- High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Relevant qualification or coursework in finance, accounting, or business is preferred.
- Understanding of basic GST and tax requirements related to supplier invoices is an advantage.
