About the role

Brisbane Acoustics is seeking a motivated and reliable Acoustic Systems Installer to join our growing installation team. Specialising in commercial architectural acoustic solutions, we work across a variety of projects including offices, schools, education facilities and commercial developments throughout Brisbane and Southeast Queensland. As part of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality architectural acoustic wall and ceiling systems.

Our work requires precision, attention to detail and pride in delivering professional finishes.

Key responsibilities

- Installation of architectural acoustic wall and ceiling panels
- Installation of specialised acoustic products, such as Autex Acoustics
- Measuring, marking, cutting and preparing materials accurately
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, elevations and installation specifications
- Installing acoustic panels using adhesives, mechanical fixings and proprietary mounting systems
- Working with a variety of acoustic materials, substrates and architectural finishes
- Confidently operating hand tools, power tools and installation equipment
- Working safely from ladders, mobile scaffolds and elevated work platforms where appropriately trained
- Coordinating with Brisbane Acoustics Project Leads, Client-side Project Managers, Site Supervisors and other trades to ensure productive project delivery
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas

About you

- Experience in carpentry, shopfitting, plastering, commercial fit-outs,



ceiling installation or a related trade is highly desirable
- Valid Construction White Card
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current driver's licence
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Ability to measure, cut and install materials accurately
- Solid attention to detail and quality finishes
- Ability to follow drawings, specifications and instructions
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude on site
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
