Actuarial Specialist – Financial Services An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytically strong and commercially minded professional to join a leading financial services organisation in a role combining pricing, forecasting and investment analytics.

This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced analytical techniques to significant investment decisions, working closely with senior stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, forecast financial performance and optimise portfolio outcomes.

The role would particularly suit someone with an actuarial background looking to broaden their experience beyond traditional insurance into commercial analytics and investment decision-making.

The Opportunity

As an Analytics Specialist, you will:

- Develop, maintain and enhance sophisticated pricing and forecasting models.
- Conduct detailed analysis and due diligence on investment opportunities.
- Prepare financial forecasts and assess portfolio performance.
- Analyse trends, risks and opportunities to support investment and capital allocation decisions.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations and Analytics teams to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Present analytical findings and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting and ongoing improvements to modelling frameworks.

About You: We're interested in speaking with professionals who have:

- A degree in Actuarial Studies or a related quantitative discipline,



with progress towards actuarial qualifications highly regarded.
- Experience in actuarial, pricing, forecasting, data analytics or quantitative modelling roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with commercial awareness.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, Python or R.
- Experience working with large datasets and developing financial or predictive models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience within general insurance, life insurance, banking, financial services or consulting will be highly regarded.
