Are you an experienced investigations professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking motivated APS6 Investigation Officers to join a specialist team conducting complex and sensitive investigations within a legislative and regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct complex investigations in accordance with Australian Government Investigation Standards.
- Assess and plan cases, conduct interviews, prepare statements and affidavits, and manage evidential material.
- Prepare briefs of evidence and referrals to relevant external agencies.
- Provide evidence in criminal and/or civil court proceedings.
- Analyse information and prepare high-quality reports, recommendations and investigative outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders, partner agencies, clients and third parties.
- Support operational activities, including occasional domestic travel and overnight stays.
About You:
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent) or demonstrated investigative experience.
- Experience conducting investigations, compliance,
regulatory or assurance activities.
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, defensible work.
- Robust written communication and report-writing skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptable, resilient and committed to high professional standards.
- NV1 Clearance.
