About the role

Peak Architects is an established architectural practice based in Burwood, specialising in residential and commercial architecture, interior design and planning. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare architectural floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.

- Produce and update DA, CDC and construction documentation.

- Translate architectural concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.

- Prepare door, window, finish and other architectural schedules.

- Assist with 3D modelling and design development, rendering.

- Coordinate drawings with architects, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders.

- Review and revise drawings throughout the design and construction process.

- Assist with site measurements, project documentation and client communication.

Skills & Experience

- Qualification in Architecture, Architectural Design, Drafting or a related field.





- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant architectural drafting/design experience preferred.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good understanding of architectural documentation and construction drawings.

- Strong skills in ArchiCAD / BIM, AutoCAD.

- Good written and verbal English communication skills.

- Experience with houses, duplexes and multi-residential developments will be highly regarded.

- Knowledge of NSW planning requirements, NCC and Australian Standards would be advantageous.

- Mandarin language skills will be highly regarded as many of our clients are Chinese-speaking and effective client communication is an key part of the role.
