Budget Bitumen is a very well-respected, small and locally owned asphalt company looking for a motivated Asphalt Labourer / Truck Driver to join our crew. We take pride in our workmanship, and value people who turn up ready to work, are proactive and contribute to a positive workplace.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role where no two days are the same. You'll carry out asphalt hand work across a variety of sites throughout metropolitan Adelaide and occasionally in regional areas, gaining valuable experience across all aspects of asphalt work.

We're looking for someone who has a positive attitude and wants to become a valued, long-term member of our team.

Your duties will include

- General asphalt hand work labouring
- Truck driving and transporting equipment and materials
- Base preparation and reinstatement work
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised worksite
- Working collaboratively with the crew to deliver quality results

Previous asphalt hand work experience is preferred, and the right person must have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, a positive attitude,be reliable and a team player. To be considered, you must:
- Hold a current MR Truck Licence and have minimum 1 year driving experience
- Have asphalt experience
- Have reliable transport to and from work
- Hold a current White Card
- Be reliable,



punctual and hardworking
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to work each day
- Be willing to learn, take direction and develop new skills
- Be physically fit and comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work
- Have a strong commitment to safety and a mature attitude towards the correct use of PPE
- Be willing to assist with machinery cleaning,
- Be willing to carry out maintenance and general duties
- Drug and alcohol screening may apply
