OVERVIEW COMPASS EDUCATION AND MIGRATION PTY LTD is seeking a full time Mandarin-speaking Education Consultant and Registered Migration Agent assistant for its Hobart office in NT. The company works with international students across Australia and provides education and migration support services. This role focuses on student applications, visa support, client communication, and coordination with education providers and migration professionals.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional academic advice for international students
- Communicate with education providers to follow up on student applications
- Assist with student applications and enrolments
- Assist students with visa applications
- Support the Migration Agent in preparing documentation for visa applications
- Assist the migration agent in preparing timely and accurate advice regarding visa options and related immigration matters
- Liaise with clients by phone, email, and in person
- Gather visa documents from clients and follow up on applications
- Maintain and update client files accurately within relevant systems and CRM platforms

Requirements

- Experience or background as an Education Consultant or Registered Migration Agent assistant




- Ability to remain informed about changing legislation and policies
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong writing and communication skills
- High attention to detail with accurate and professional work standards
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong project management ability
- Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with the Department of Home Affairs, education providers, and other parties
