About The Role

Reporting to Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for:

- The management, security and operational efficiency of the hotel ensuring optimum guest and associate satisfaction during the night.
- Ensure the Night Audit function is performed with relation to roll of day, revenue capture and reporting, in line with relevant SOPs.
- Oversee the safety and security of all guests, associates and assets.
- Anticipate and resolve problems which impact on guest service.
- Facilitate and monitor the implementation of The Langham Sydney WHS Management System and associated policies, procedures, guidelines and programs.
- Create a positive hotel image. Ensure general grooming and hotel presentation standards are impeccable and in accordance with organisational policy and guidelines.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all room types, hotel matrix and facilities.
- Ensure accurate revenue capture, and relevant reports are distributed.
- Address and resolve major complaints. Communicate problems to management and advise steps taken to resolve.




- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests. Keep up to date current on guest, restaurant and functions activities.
- Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective shift handovers.

Skill And Experiences

- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Possess a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite).
- RSA & First Aid Certificate.
- Attention to detail, versatile and reliable.
- Hold a current open manual drivers licence is preferrable.
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management.
- Embrace and demonstrate Langham Hospitality Group values.
- Available to work weekends and public holidays with valid working rights in Australia.
