Join the team at Sydney Helicopters' as an Aviation Refueler tanker driver. This is a casual position at this stage with potential to go permanent part time or full time based in Penrith, NSW 2750. As an Aviation Refueler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient refueling of our emergency aircraft whilst on deployment combatting bushfires and other emergency related taskings.
What you'll be doing
- Safely and accurately refuel a variety of helicopters
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of refuelling equipment and fuel trucks
- Maintain detailed records of all refuelling activities
- Assist with other ground handling duties as required
- The majority of your work will be on our base in Penrith
What we're looking for
- Experience in an aviation refueling or similar role, preferably in the helicopter or small aircraft industry although this is not mandatory
- Minimum of 2+ years refueling experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid HR and / or HC driver's licence and the ability to obtain the necessary aviation security clearances
- Must obtain ASIC aviation security clearance if not already held
- Dangerous Goods License preferable however we can provide the relevant training
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
