About the role

Are you passionate about cutting-edge audio-visual (AV) and video conferencing (VC) technology and delivering exceptional client experiences?

In this multifaceted role, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day execution of high-standard AV/VC projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. When installation projects allow, you will pivot to provide critical service support—including fault finding, preventative maintenance, and client training—ensuring seamless AV/VC operations across our client base.

Key responsibilities

- Install, configure, test and commission skilled AV and VC systems.
- Complete rack builds, cabling, terminations, labelling and cable management.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, rack layouts and panel drawings.
- Test, document and troubleshoot AV, VC and ICT systems.
- Support system commissioning, configuration, calibration and programming.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, callouts and preventative service work.
- Provide technical support and basic user training.
- Work closely with clients, project teams and onsite trades.




- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
- Travel to client sites, including regional locations, as required.

About you

- Certificate III in Electronics & Communications or a relevant technical qualification.
- Hands-on experience as an AV Technician, AV Installer, AV Service Technician or similar.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to confidently read technical drawings and schematics.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
- Holds a Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check where required. Please note that the successful candidate may be required to hold a security clearance during their employment. For this reason, applicants with unrestricted working rights in Australia are preferred for this position.
